School for Conscious Musicianship

Music Training.

Playing from presence. Training in free improvisation, attuned musical reflection, and ceremonial musicianship—developing the ability to listen deeply, enter flow, and respond instinctively to the moment.

The training

Three dimensions of practice.

The work moves outward: from your relationship with sound, to your relationship with another person's experience, to your ability to shape a larger musical journey.

01

The Musical
Flow Method

Learn to loosen habitual musical structures and improvise from embodied impulse, deep listening, repetition, spaciousness, and trance. Develop the ability to enter flow and respond instinctively to what is happening in the moment.

Loosen structure → deepen perception → respond
02

Playing for
Healing

Develop attuned musical reflection: translating another person's present physical and emotional experience into sound that supports self-recognition, integration, agency, insight, and creativity.

Sense → reflect → develop
03

Playing for
Ceremony

Learn to create a musical journey through slowly evolving patterns that follow the participant's experience, support group coherence, and allow the music to develop organically across an extended arc.

Follow the experience → shape the journey → hold the whole

For musicians

Go beyond performing the music.

This training is for musicians seeking a deeper relationship with the transformative possibilities of improvisational music: greater presence, sensitivity, creative freedom, interpersonal attunement, and the ability to participate consciously in contemplative and healing environments.

This training develops musicianship for contemplative and healing contexts. It does not qualify participants as therapists, medical professionals, or psychedelic facilitators.

Musician Training

Learn to participate in what is already unfolding.

Develop improvisation, listening, flow, attunement, and musical presence as an integrated practice.
