Awareness becomes creative participation.
About Reflexivity Studios
Reflexivity Studios is a collaborative studio that develops music, meditation, expanded-state practices, educational systems, and experiences for exploring how creative intention supports healing and personal growth.
What we believe
Why this work exists.
Healing is not merely the removal of symptoms. It is the recovery of a creative relationship with one’s own thoughts, feelings, identity, and life.
Disconnection from self
Emotional pain happens when you feel disconnected from yourself. When past trauma or stress forces you to exaggerate or hide parts of who you are, this inner conflict can appear as compulsive negative thoughts, unhealthy habits, and physical stress or anxiety.
Creative self-authorship
Lasting healing begins when you learn to actively shape your own thoughts, feelings, and life story. By combining relaxed and receptive mental states with music, meditation, and intention, you can approach mental and emotional content creatively—and build a life grounded in personal value, purpose, and meaning.
The five domains
How we approach the work.
Each domain offers a different entrance into the same process: becoming aware of what shapes experience and participating more deliberately in what comes next.
Consciousness
Experience is shaped by cognitive, perceptual, emotional, bodily, relational, and social processes. Awareness makes these processes more available for deliberate participation.
Expanded states
Expanded states can interrupt habitual patterns of perception and identity, creating conditions for new awareness, creativity, and agency. They require preparation, ethical containment, skilled support, and integration.
Healing
Healing is the restoration of relationship among experiences, feelings, needs, capacities, and aspects of identity that may have become disconnected through adaptation, trauma, or social conditioning.
Music
Free improvised music can make present experience audible, supporting embodied awareness, creative self-reflection, and new possibilities for expression.
Spirituality
Spirituality is the cultivation of inner and outer connection—not as escape from ordinary life, but as its transformation toward greater meaning, creativity, and belonging.
