A 5-Day Creativity Retreat in Nature

Change the way you create by changing your state of mind.

Nov. 4–8, 2026 Southern Oregon All creatives welcome Application required Limited spots

What This Retreat Is About

A focused retreat for changing the way you create by changing your state of mind.

Through creative experimentation, meditation, nature, guided practice, community, rest, and expanded-state work, you’ll step outside your usual routines and create the conditions for new ideas, perspective, flow, and direction.

The process is informed by the neuroscience of attention, self-monitoring, associative thinking, embodiment, and creative flow.

There is time to make, explore, learn, wander, rest, connect, and get inspired.

Who It’s For

Creatives ready for movement.

You do not need to arrive with a problem, a project, or a clear answer.

Want dedicated time and space for your creativity
Want to explore new ways of creating
Want to learn how to enter flow more intentionally
Want fresh ideas, perspective, and inspiration
Want to spend time with other creatives
Feel stuck, uninspired, or unsure what comes next
Get caught in overthinking, self-criticism, or perfectionism
Need clarity about a project or direction
Want to break familiar patterns
Want to reconnect with momentum, curiosity, and creative desire

What We’ll Do

Change the conditions for creativity.

The retreat moves between active experimentation, receptive states, guided inquiry, nature, rest, and shared creative experience.

Creative Experimentation

Play, improvise, try unfamiliar approaches, and explore new ways of making.

Meditation

Quiet mental noise, widen attention, and become more receptive to ideas, intuition, and insight.

Expanded States & Plant Allies

Explore changes in perception, association, feeling, and attention as tools for creative discovery.

Nature, Rest & Incubation

Walk, wander, slow down, and give your mind enough space for ideas to reorganize and emerge.

Guided Creative Practice

Use exercises, questions, prompts, and coaching to explore your work and move your creative process forward.

Community

Share meals, ideas, conversation, experimentation, and creative time with other people who care about making things.

Before the Retreat

Your Personal Creative Assessment

Before the retreat, you’ll have a personal coaching and creative assessment to clarify:

  • Where you are now
  • What you’re working toward
  • What you want more of creatively
  • What may be getting in the way
  • What you most want to explore or discover

We’ll use that conversation to help shape your retreat experience around your actual creative needs and interests.
